Dr. Kendell Buxton
Dr. Buxton is originally from a small town in Cache Valley of northern Utah. Cache Valley is home to Utah State University, where Dr. Buxton began his undergraduate studies in 1998. After completion of his coursework at USU, he moved to the Midwest, where he earned his dental degree at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2008. Since that time, he has worked in several outstanding private practices in Ohio, New Mexico, and now Colorado.
Dr. Buxton chose Fort Collins as his final destination because of its many similarities to his hometown, the family-friendly environment, the active lifestyle, and the beautiful surroundings.
Dr. Buxton loves dentistry and enjoys the ongoing education it demands. He works hard to stay up to date on the latest information and technology from each branch of the dental profession. Dr. Buxton believes dentistry can be comfortable for even the most timid patients and does his best to show that no matter what type of treatment he is providing.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Buxton’s enjoys spending time with his wife, their six children, and their miniature dachshund. They enjoy music, sports, the outdoors, road trips, movies, exploring Colorado and cheering on their favorite sports teams.
Jeanette is a native to Denver and joined Buxton Family Dental July of 2019. She graduated from hygiene school in 2014 and loves educating and encouraging patients through their dental journey. Jeanette's favorite part of her job is providing patients the experience of good dental care and the feeling of a great smile. When she is not working, Jeanette enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time outdoors with her husband, David, and yorkshire terrier, Riley.
Laramie attended the American School of Dental Assisting and joined our practice in February 2017. Like many people, Laramie wasn’t a fan of seeing the dentist, which actually motivated her to choose a career in dentistry. She loves to make others feel comfortable and watch them leave the office with a happy, healthy smile. Laramie also enjoys working with a great staff in an environment where there is never a dull moment!
Laramie is originally from Grayson, Kentucky and has lived in Colorado since 2012. In her spare time Laramie enjoys spending time with family and outdoor activities with her husband and scottish terrier named Dunkin.

Anissa is originally from northern Utah where she received her Bachelor's in Business Administration from Utah State University. After spending a few years in Tacoma, Washington, she and her family moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming and have called this home for over 20 years. She joined Buxton Family Dental in 2018 and enjoys working with patients and insurance companies to make your visit to the dentist as seamless as possible from start to finish. Anissa loves working in an office where people are smiling, happy to be in a dentist office, staff and patient's alike! Anissa loves being with her family, reading all types of genres and spending time outdoors when it is not windy!
Kirsten has been a chairside assistant since 2013, joining us in 2020. Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, she moved to Colorado in 2017. She is trained in various aspects of dentistry and enjoys delivering quality dentistry. She especially likes working in general dentistry because she gets to work with all age groups and different types of dentistry. Kirsten is thankful for how much we love, respect and appreciate each other and how passionate we are about taking care of our patients.
Kirsten enjoys looking for the next rare house plant, making pottery, hiking, and spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs Nola, Liz and cat Kealoha.
